Geordie Greep Santa Barbara reviews
Virtual Reality
Geordie Greep's performance was well worth the money. His show was impressive, even his animation. He is a master showman, a superior guitarist, and a talented lyricist. The Band Perry was interesting. Last year at CMA, I was impressed by a leaps and bounds improvement. Saw them perform the National Anthem two years ago and was unimpressed. McCreery's vocals were well mixed. Thursday's set was well planned, and I thought their performance was excellent. I do not feel the sound mix of her voice was anywhere close as her performance was. Her vocals are front and center, and the sound board should match this. Two negatives to the night were the sound mix, heavy on the bass for the first two acts but no problems when Geordie Greep performed, and the facility. Seats not facing the stage were an issue. If they ever replace the arena, it would be nice if the seats would swivel enough so concert-goers face the stage without having to crane their necks.
